Yelvertoft Marina is located on the summit of the Grand Union (Leicester Line) with in excess of 20 miles of lock free cruising. All pontoons have a 16 amp electricity connection, water point and lighting. Fire fighting equipment, an escape ladder and life ring are centrally located on each pontoon.
Yelvertoft Marina was designed with the local ecology being a top priority, moorings are set a few feet away from the land, separated by wetlands and shallows to encourage wildlife. We also boast an ecological area where native pond fauna and flora grow. The results speak for themselves, the marina is teeming with widlife - moorhens, ducks, geese, swans, herons, giant carp (often seen around the moorings late afternoon) terns, swallows, bats, owls and lots more. Set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, we strive to offer you the best moorings at a competitive rate. Some of the benefits included in your mooring fee are gated (key coded) access to the marina and the towpath, parking close to your mooring, toilets and showers, elsan point, wifi, lending library, DVD exchange, moorers lounge with free tea and coffee, and regular functions in our marquee. Our moorers also enjoy discounts on diesel and pump outs. We believe all the "little extras" should come as standard.
